Premier Inn Halifax South

I've stayed here several times and the staff are always friendly and helpful. In the mornings, a warm, bubbly woman in the restaurant welcomes you and can't do enough. The food's good whenever you eat there, and the canal is right by the car park, so bring a rod if you like fishing. My only small complaint is that the beds are starting to sag and could use new mattresses.

The heating system worried me a bit because it scorched the wall. Otherwise, our room was warm, clean and comfortable, with a great view over the canal.

We booked two rooms and were very happy with our overnight stay. Joseph checked us in and was genuinely lovely and kind. He made sure we were comfortable and happy. Thank you.

The room was delightful once we got inside, clean and comfortable, like a usual Premier Inn bedroom. Staff had opened the windows so it was cool, a thoughtful touch, and the walk-in shower meant neither of us had to climb into a bath. From outside, we thought the building looked like small town houses. We were right by the canal, where a canal boat was parked, and went for a lovely walk after unpacking. The canal was clean and people were friendly. With the windows shut, we couldn't hear anything from the hotel or the busy road. Best sleep we've had in a Premier Inn. We'll definitely come back and tell our friends.
