The view from the back is a real highlight, such a lovely place to sit and unwind. We also felt right at home thanks to the friendly, attentive staff. The pub had a warm, welcoming feel, and the food was fresh, full of flavour and beautifully served. Everything we tried was spot on. There was a good range of drinks too, all served just right. You can tell they care about quality. Would happily come back.

The team took care of everything on the day, so we could just enjoy our own little bubble and be present. We had our wedding here on 09.04.2026, and the whole experience was faultless, from meetings and showrounds to meals beforehand. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and made us feel special. The venue felt made for us, with stunning views, a spacious but intimate room, and a lovely bar area. The food was amazing, and guests commented on how tasty and hot it was. Our evening pizza and fries upgrade went down really well too. Thank you so much for hosting our day. We can’t wait to come back ❤️

Our guests were especially impressed by the wedding meal, calling it one of the best they’d ever had. It was beautifully presented and tasted like five-star food. We got married at The Fleece Countryside Inn on June 27th, and the countryside views had caught our eye straight away. They made a gorgeous setting for photos and hosting outdoors. We wanted a relaxed, intimate day, and the team helped put together a package that suited us perfectly. The staff were warm, welcoming and professional, and the day flowed smoothly. We could relax and enjoy it, knowing they had everything covered behind the scenes. Our rooms and the guests’ rooms were just right, spotlessly clean, with great facilities, and breakfast the next morning was gorgeous. The Fleece will always be special to us. The team made our wedding day feel completely stress free. They were calm, friendly and attentive throughout, and our guests have been telling us how good the food was. We married here on 19.02, and the beautiful setting gave us the perfect backdrop for photos. Every picture looks amazing, and we feel so lucky to have celebrated there. It really was the perfect place for our wedding. We’re grateful to the whole team for giving us such a wonderful day, and couldn’t recommend it more.
