The staff were awful. They barely spoke English and didn’t want to discuss my booking, just told me to go to booking.com. It was the worst service I’ve ever had. I won’t be back, and I’d urge anyone thinking of booking to look elsewhere.

We checked the bed and found hair and crumbs all over it, so we left straight away. They refused to give us a refund. The place is filthy, and the carpets on the way to the rooms are disgusting. A filthy cesspit.

The food was fresh and top quality, and the portion was definitely adequate. The prices for their dalmore are £2 a nip below the average boozer. The manager was helpful and one of the nicest people, just a regular family man like you or me. Don’t let the midnight closing put you off, it’s more than worth it. The place is in a perfect, accessible location for professionals needing somewhere to stay. The bedrooms are small, but I booked a single, so don’t expect to fit you and the Mrs in one. Everything else was perfect. I loved the three-day stay, and they made it feel like home. Thanks again!

Avoid this filthy hotel at all costs. The bedsheet was sweaty, and I’m not sure when they last cleaned the bedding. I don’t know how they operate as a hotel. Please avoid it.
