We slept so well here, tucked away in the countryside with plenty of walks nearby and no noise at night. We’d planned a few UK nights away with my parents after COVID-19 and adopting a dog meant a longer holiday wasn’t possible. The staff made us feel welcome straight away, and our bedroom was lovely for the price. They dealt promptly with anything we asked for to make the stay more comfortable. The food was good quality and well cooked, with tasty breakfast dishes and pastries to choose from. In the evening, candles made the pub feel cosy. Although it had only recently reopened, everything seemed very well run. The White Hart is affordable, good value and dog-friendly, and I’d definitely consider staying again.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty of hot choices alongside warm croissants, toast and cereals, all presented well. The rooms felt 5 star, and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was a powerful shower with hot water, plus a good selection of tea, coffee and biscuits and some bottled water. We also had an excellent dinner, with great service. The pub has its own beer on tap and a wide choice of gin, and the garden was a lovely place to sit with a G and T on a summer evening. The owner and her team were warm and friendly throughout. We’re picky travellers, and this is the best B and B we’ve stayed in. We’ll definitely be back.

The staff were welcoming and attentive, the rooms fantastic, and the food amazing. A great country pub and restaurant.

The open fire in the lounge was the best part of our Saturday night stay. Stella, who owns the place, was lovely, friendly and efficient, and breakfast was good too. Our spacious room was comfortable, with a very modern bathroom. We also enjoyed dinner, and the pub garden was lovely, with Ramsbury ales on draft. Fabulous all round, highly recommend it.

Stella and her team made us feel so welcome, especially our friends' border terrier. We had a relaxed and enjoyable three-night stay in a beautifully furnished room, and hope to return. Breakfasts were superb, with a great choice. Sunday lunch and an evening meal were just as good, with generous portions of really tasty food. Everything was just as it should be.
