We came from Australia and spent four nights at Park House in November 2024, bringing our family together there. The separate sitting spots, two dining areas and well-equipped kitchen made it easy for five adults and our dog to share the house. It felt spacious but still cosy, with big comfortable beds, an open fire and gardens full of autumn colour. Booking directly with Nikki was simple and got us the midweek special offer, which saved money. She'd also left a welcome hamper with cake, wine and other treats. Harlaxton Manor and Belvoir Castle are close by for lovely walks. A peaceful, relaxing place for a family getaway.

The children had fun exploring the house during the Pirate Treasure hunt, and the rest of us made the most of the pretty English country garden in the gorgeous weather. Inside and out, Park House is beautiful, exceptionally clean and well equipped. Our family of eight, from 60 years old down to 11 months, had a wonderfully relaxing break. Nikki was really helpful when we booked directly, which saved us money, and there was a hamper of goodies waiting on arrival. The lunchtime departure was appreciated too. Thank you for such a great stay. We hope to come back soon. The Foster family.

The village is stunning, and the hosts were very friendly. It's a lovely, homely place for families, with a great garden and lots of space in the rooms. The upstairs bathroom is an odd size and its layout is awkward, but for a family holiday in such an amazing location, it's a fabulous choice.

Our kids' eyes lit up as soon as we walked in, and we've already booked to come back. It's a lovely, spacious old cottage with plenty of original details alongside some tasteful modern finishes. The owners are lovely too.
