The room was really warm, but otherwise the hotel was fantastic for attending the convention centre. We booked room only, so didn’t have breakfast. In the morning, the lifts take a while when lots of floors of guests are leaving at once for the same conference.

Zarah was amazing and got us into the room we’d actually paid for. She saw we were unhappy and went above and beyond to sort it out, which is why we’d come back. We’d been put in a different room, and the check-in lady told us there were no Queen-size rooms left, even though we’d booked months earlier. There was no offer of a refund or anything until we spoke with Zarah. Thank you, Zarah, you’re amazing.

The staff were polite and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great value with a really nice selection. The hotel’s location is great too, about a five-minute walk from the town centre. I’d definitely stay again.

The staff made our first two-night New Year stay especially memorable. Kevan was professional and helpful, even finding us a phone charger to borrow, Ali shared ideas for enjoying our visit and made a great Hurricane cocktail, and Zarah was so cheerful, knowledgeable, and ready to help with anything. The hotel itself is lovely, with a very nice bar and a good restaurant offering plenty of choice. It’s only about a six-minute walk to the pubs and town centre. My partner and I had a brilliant time and will definitely return. Paul and Tracey, Hull.
