The room had decent space, and the water pressure on the second floor was good, but the stay had too many drawbacks. The sheets’ cleanliness was the biggest concern, and the weak soundproofing meant I could hear traffic outside and neighbours all night. The room also felt dated. There was an elevator, and the heater worked on and off. Breakfast was limited, and basics like shower gel and shampoo had to be requested. There was no kettle, fridge, or safe either.

A clean, perfectly fine place for a short stay in central London. Breakfast is included, and although it’s well connected, the street itself is quiet and calm. I’d recommend it.

We just needed somewhere to rest before continuing our rail journey, and we left refreshed and happy the next morning. The staff were attentive, cheerful and accommodating, and the night manager Asarf greeted us warmly. Our room was clean, warm and secure, with a new, spotless shower room. It’s a lovely boutique hotel, only minutes from Paddington Station. Breakfast was a simple continental spread: boiled eggs, ham, cheese, toast, cereal, coffee and juice. THANK YOU ORCHARD HOTEL STAFF!

The only thing I missed was more choice at breakfast. They had eggs, ham and cheese, but I wouldn’t count the cereal, which feels more like a kids’ meal. The rooms were comfortable, with thick sheets and a spacious bathroom, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A good hotel.

Being so close to Paddington station makes this newly renovated hotel really convenient, with trains, the Underground and buses nearby. The bathrooms feel fresh, the beds are good, and reception is open 24 hours. They also provide a simple breakfast, which I appreciated since a lot of small hotels don’t.
