The rooms are basic, but about what you'd expect for the price. I liked the sash windows, which let in plenty of air. There isn't a reception, just a number to call. That's fine in good weather, but I wouldn't fancy it in the rain. In my room, the curtains were right beside the bed and let some light through, so expect to wake when the sun comes up.

For what I paid, I really can't complain. The bathroom looked recently refurbished, and the room was furnished well. The bed was very comfortable, and there were good facilities for making tea and coffee. It was spot on, and close to the main areas of Harrogate.

The bed was comfortable and the place is close to town. Parking can be a bit tricky, but they offer a space for £10, I think.

We had a great overnight stay. The Lodge was clean and comfortable, and an easy walk from town. The owners gave great service. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The room and bathroom were very small, but clean. There was plenty of coffee, tea and milk. No breakfast, though, and that hadn't been mentioned 😕
