Travelodge Harwich

There’s plenty of parking, and several fast food and coffee places nearby, with a Morrisons across the road. I’ve stayed at this Travelodge a few times now and have been delighted each time. The prices are very competitive, and the staff are always friendly, welcoming and informative. My partner and I have stayed with our two daughters, though the family rooms could use more space. With four of us, there isn’t much room for hanging clothes or using a desk, so we end up putting clothes on the window ledge. We’ll definitely come back.

The soap smelled incredible, and the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. I couldn’t figure out the heating, but the staff member I spoke to that evening fixed it straight away. My only small gripe was that there wasn’t a toilet brush.

The room was spotless, well ventilated and had a great shower. My dog and I stayed one night before catching the ferry. The hotel feels new and fresh, and the staff were helpful and very friendly.

Good parking and an accessible location make this a great place to stay in Dovercourt. The rooms are small, but modern, and I liked how new the motel feels. Room servicing could be explained more clearly for guests staying several nights. I’m likely to stay here again, and would pay extra for a family room to get more space.
