Mount Douglas Farm

A big pitch with an electric hookup, plus a fridge, microwave, washing machine and dryer made it easy to have what we needed for camping. There’s also a place to dispose of wastewater. Toilets and showers were clean, and it’s a fantastic place to stay. Highly recommend.

The beach is about a mile away, and it’s worth heading up Trencrom Hill for views of both St.Ives Bay and St Michael's Mount. Back at the campsite, the pitches are spacious and clearly marked, with a lovely view over the countryside below. It’s quiet, the facilities were spotless, and the showers always had hot water. The staff were helpful and friendly without any fuss. We’d happily stay again.

The children were safe to play, and the staff were always around to help. The facilities were brilliant, and I’ve never stayed at a cleaner campsite. We came as a family of two adults and four children, and had such a good camping trip that the kids didn’t want to leave. The site accommodated us when we extended our stay at very short notice.

Getting to and from St Ives by bus is easy, and the stop is less than a ten-minute walk away. This is a peaceful, well-run site with large pitches, some with electricity. The showers are hot and powerful, and there are hair drying and straightening facilities. You can also use the washing machine and dryer, plus the toaster, microwave and freezers on site. Phil, Zoe and the team really do their best to make guests comfortable. I’d thoroughly recommend it.
