The house itself was a delight, with every room decorated in its own distinctive, wonderfully bold style. We loved our spacious four-poster room, especially the snug bed, modern roomy bath and lovely outlook. Set among farmland and a beautiful garden, this very old, 14th-century home has been cared for with real skill and affection by Mike and Susie over many years. It made for such a happy stay, and we felt lucky to have been there. Mike and Susie were warm and welcoming throughout.

Susie and Mike made us feel very welcome, and we'd happily come back in a heartbeat. The property is a peaceful little haven on the edge of Hurstpierpoint, with gorgeous grounds and thoughtful details in the rooms, food and gardens. It's also a great base for exploring the Downs and the wider Sussex area.

The breakfasts were fresh, full of flavour and lovely to look at, and the views across the grounds and surrounding countryside were just beautiful. We found this place ideal for switching off as soon as we arrived. The rooms were clean and quirky, with a gorgeous interior, and the owners were so charming and did everything they could to make our stay easy and relaxed. We enjoyed it so much that we've found our new Brighton Marathon weekend retreat, and we're already looking forward to coming back. Thank you 🙏🏼

We loved having hot drinks in our room and in the lovely shared breakfast room, and our dog was welcomed with treats and seemed very happy. The bed was really comfortable, and there are lovely walks from the door up to the South Downs. It's a beautiful B&B with friendly, warm hosts, pretty rural views and a wonderful breakfast. We look forward to coming back.

I found a room here at the last minute for a wedding in Hurstpier Point after the local Travel Lodges were all booked. Thank goodness they were, because this place is a real gem. It's peaceful and convenient, with beautifully kept gardens and impressive views over the english countryside, and felt like more than you'd expect for the price. Susie and Mike are such cheerful, lovely hosts. Thanks, Mike and Suz, for opening your home to guests. You're doing the Lords work!! I'll be back.
