The Bale House visitor centre is close by, with a café and toilets, and this makes a handy place to begin a scenic walk. From the high point in Hastings Country Park, there are superb views of the cliffs and the landslip at Fairlight Glen. The coastguard station, cottages and radar system are all up here.
