We'd never taken a staycation before, but this was a great choice for our first one. The room was lovely, the surroundings were lovely, and it was quiet the whole time. Fiona and Iain made us feel so welcome, and breakfast was great with lots to choose from. They took the time to chat with us and the other couples over breakfast, which I really liked. Thanks to you both. All the best, and hopefully see you again soon. Charlotte and Ryan x

Breakfast was filling and well done, with different things to choose from each day. I liked it so much that I ordered the same thing all six days. We had a very enjoyable six-day stay, and the location was superb, an easy 15-minute walk into the city. We could leave the car securely parked in front of the house while we spent time in Hastings. The local fox or foxes often showed up on the driveway and in the meadow next door.

Fiona was a lovely, welcoming host, and the room was lovely too, with tea and coffee, a mini fridge, hairdryer and toiletries provided. Breakfast was 10/10 👍. Lynn and I will stay again later in the year.

The owners were lovely and very courteous, and they're great cooks. Breakfast was fantastic. The rooms were clean and en suite, and some were equipped for disabled guests. It's within walking distance of the town centre, yet feels like a quiet garden oasis without disturbing noise. Secure parking at the house is included, and bikers are welcome. Highly recommend.

Ian and Fiona were amazing hosts, always keen to help, and far from boring. Our Seaside room was lovely, with views over a field full of wildlife, and the location and views were superb. And then there was Māo the cat, a big softie at heart. Beth and I sincerely thank you both for making our stay so welcoming and pleasant.
