Premier Inn Portsmouth Havant South

The one thing that could have made things easier was an accessible button to open the corridor and room doors when I went out alone. I understand security might make that difficult, but it would be handy for a wheelchair user. Otherwise, we felt safe, well looked after, and welcome as an LGBT couple. I stayed one night on 20th Oct, and the room for two was great value. The large car park had good disabled spaces, with free parking for Blue badge holders, and the hotel was close to the A3 junction. The friendly woman at reception helped us check in and said staff were available 24/7 if we needed anything. My accessible double room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and well laid out, with lots of room for my chair. The beds were very comfortable and I slept well. The full English breakfast was reasonably priced and much nicer than I expected, including the sausages. The floor staff and chef were polite and friendly. I'd definitely stay again, thanks ever so much for a lovely stay.

We had some plumbing trouble during our latest visit, but the staff sorted out a room move quickly and offered free food and drinks as an apology. I've stayed here a few times, and the rooms have always been clean and comfortable. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend it for an affordable, pleasant stay.

On our third day, a fire in the Costa below set off the alarm. The staff kept us informed, and once they knew we couldn't return, they arranged alternative accommodation at nearby Premier Inn's. They updated guests the next day, and most of us could pack our own belongings to move to the new accommodation. Kelly, the manager, and the rest of the staff showed incredible care and dedication. I'm especially grateful for how they looked after my daughter and me, as we both suffer from anxiety. The stay was excellent, though it ended early through no fault of the hotel. I highly recommend this Premier Inn: the rooms are clean, the facilities are great, it's central to everything, and the staff are amazing.

I spent six days here and want to thank Kerri, Tony, and Gloria for helping us out. Kerri and Tony went above and beyond, and I really appreciated it. All the staff are a credit to Premier Inn. I'd happily stay here again next year and highly recommend the hotel.
