The Penellen Bed And Breakfast

I was amazed by how spacious this dog-friendly cottage was. It was immaculately clean, like a show home, and had all the amenities you need. The owners left a lovely welcome package, and there's a shared garden at the back overlooking the beach, a lovely place to watch the sun set. I booked again for next year within an hour of arriving. That says it all.

Barbara made us feel right at home, and the room was lovely. We were also surprised by the amazing range of complimentary breakfast items, especially since our booking was room only. The views are incredible and really need to be seen in person. My partner and I had a wonderful two-night stay in such a beautiful spot. We’ll definitely return, and I can’t recommend this place enough.

Barb and Paul were great hosts, nothing was too much trouble. My mum and I had a fab week from 11th-16th May, and the Sandy Bay apartment had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend staying there.

We stayed in room 5 and left the doors open as we fell asleep, listening to the ocean. The beds were lovely and comfortable, and everything was beautifully clean, it felt like a home away from home. My auntie and I had a wonderful two-night stay, with amazing views across Hayle beach and welcoming, attentive hosts. Barbara cooked a lovely breakfast, with plenty to choose from. We also loved meeting George the German Shepard. Barbara and Paul even brought George outside so I could say goodbye before we headed home. Not a single complaint, and I can’t wait to come back 👍🏻🐶⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
