The building has an interesting, slightly quirky design and looks lovely. Inside, the thoughtfully designed halls have comfortable chairs and sofas around tables, with some really nice places to relax. We had a very good dinner in the restaurant one evening, and parking was easy with plenty of spaces in the hotel car park. Service was excellent, and the staff were attentive and friendly. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

Jamie and Jackie were so helpful and pleasant the whole time. We got a great deal on the hotel, and they made a lovely anniversary gesture in our room. Highly recommend!

We slept really well. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet. It was also spacious, clean and had everything we needed, including a large en suite bathroom. The building used to be a wealthy doctor's home, and they've kept features like the stained-glass windows and solid wood staircase and railings. Staff were friendly and helpful, and free parking was available. It cost a little more than a Premier Inn, but the extra comfort was well worth paying for.

For the price, the room was a good size and clean and tidy, with a nice bathroom and bathtub. The bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the staff were friendly and provided very good service. The bar and lounge area was nice too.

The room was clean, warm and comfortable, though a bit dated, and it's a nice hotel. I booked through booking.com, which clearly says every room has satellite TV, but ours only had terrestrial TV. That's my one issue.
