Headlam Hall Hotel

The homemade cheese and pickle sausage roll was delicious, and I’d never had anything quite like it. We also had a half pint of Birra Moretti each. The café next to the golf club has freshly made snacks, sandwiches and pastries, plus a good choice of drinks, including beer on tap. The ladies serving were genuinely warm and helpful. We sat on the patio overlooking the course, with golfers chatting nearby, and found it a calm, inviting place to unwind. Everything looked smart and beautifully kept. I stopped by for a visit and was really impressed. A lovely spot, and I’ll be back more often.

I was at Headlam yesterday for my parents’ wedding anniversary, and we had an amazing restaurant experience. Nicola and Grace were especially accommodating with our requests, and all the staff were brilliant, warm and caring. 10/10, I’ll visit again!

The staff were amazing, and I’m so grateful they found my necklace. I’d been asked to remove it for my treatment and put it in my robe pocket, then forgot it there. I called the hotel, and they spoke to the cleaners to look for it. By 7am the next morning, it was ready for me to collect at reception. The twilight spa had lovely facilities, and the meal was beautiful. Thank you so much.

The building’s architecture is impressive, and the food was amazing. We went for my wife’s birthday, and it was an awesome hotel for a country retreat. A classy place I’d strongly recommend visiting!
