Breakfast was large and really high quality, with eggs cooked perfectly from their own chickens. Afterward we had a wonderfully restful night's sleep. The couple who welcomed us were lovely and couldn't have done more to help. Our room was clean and nicely furnished, the bed extremely comfortable, and the bathroom spotless with a great shower.

Clare was a wonderful hostess, and breakfast was amazing. We only stayed one evening, but the clean, comfortable room made a great impression. We'd certainly come back to West Lodge if we're in the area again.

The owner, Clare, was so friendly, and the breakfast was outstanding. West Lodge's views, setting, and accommodation matched or even surpassed a good hotel. We've stayed in quality hotels around the world, and this experience was right up there with the best. I'd highly recommend this five-star B&B. You won't be disappointed.

We arrived late for Lewes bonfire, but Clare and Gavin were friendly and helpful with check-in arrangements and parking advice. The garden is lovely, and there are horses and chickens in the yard outside. Breakfast was delicious. I'd recommend a stay here.

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, which is always a priority for us. Clare and her partner, whose name I've unfortunately forgotten, were both friendly and very helpful. I can thoroughly recommend staying here, and we'll return next time we're in the area.
