The location made exploring London easy. Oxford Street shops are close by, and there are lots of good cafés and places to eat nearby. It's a very walkable area. We stayed in an older room, and its character gave us a real sense of the building's history. The bed was extremely comfortable after long days out. The staff made us feel welcome and at ease throughout. Sarah deserves a special thank you for her kindness and for accommodating us, especially with our little ones. We felt so cared for, and the connection with her and the rest of the team is one we won't forget. Every staff member we encountered helped make our stay at The Leonard Hotel memorable. We're looking forward to coming back next time. You won't be disappointed! 🩷 from The Kerrs!

Best stay I've had in London so far. The location is excellent and the service is great. The newly renovated rooms are lovely and worth the price. Hussain and the rest of the staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful. I'll definitely come back.

We visited The Leonard Hotel in May 2026 for Afternoon Tea using a Groupon voucher. It's easy to find, a short walk from Marble Arch tube station and Hyde Park. The hotel felt quiet and well kept, with lots of period character. The main restaurant was being renovated, so they'd set up a smaller dining area for us. It had pleasant music, artwork on the walls, and air conditioning, which was welcome on such a hot day. The tea was basic but nicely presented, with a small choice of sandwiches and cakes. The scones were warm, and there was a large pot of delicious thick strawberry jam and clotted cream, along with strawberries and raspberries. We also had a glass of champagne and excellent English breakfast tea. The staff were kind and helpful. We didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the rooms. But the hotel had a good feel overall, the location is very convenient for central London, and the bathrooms had nice towels. I'd imagine the accommodation is a good standard too.

It's always a pleasure to return to the Leonard, and the staff are consistently great. This visit, serious renovation work affected both the kitchen service and getting to our room. We nearly always have breakfast uncooked, so aside from that we missed out on the hotel's food this time. It was excellent on previous visits. I hope it gets back to that standard when the kitchen is running at full capacity again. Wishing the hotel every success! Stephen LaBrooy

We had a great time as a family of four in apartment 12. It's well equipped, the beds are very comfortable, and the location is ideal. When we arrived there was no hot water, but the friendly, responsive staff fixed it within minutes. Just bear in mind it's on the fourth floor, so you'd need to be okay with going up and down the stairs a few times a day. The team had already mentioned that when we booked, so it wasn't a problem for us. The hotel is having major renovations, but they didn't bother us and should make it even better soon. We'll definitely come back.
