Tottington Manor

The evening went just as planned, and my guests all remarked on the lovely venue, excellent food and enjoyable celebration. The food was beautifully presented and the staff were outstanding, so friendly and helpful. Charlotte greeted my husband and me and showed us to the room I’d booked. I’d arranged a surprise 80th birthday party for my husband on Saturday, and from our first meeting in January, Charlotte’s organisation was outstanding. She responded immediately to every query. Thank you for such a memorable evening.

Lunch with my father was a great success. The food and service were exceptional, and I’d highly recommend it. If you’re driving, which is pretty likely, come from Henfield rather than via Poynings/Fulking. That road is in poor condition, with loads of potholes.

We had a wonderful two nights at Tottingham Manor. Our small room was described as cosy and comfortable, and that was exactly right. It was thoughtfully laid out and had everything we needed, including lovely Molten Brown toiletries and an nespresso machine. Waking up to the sound of cows and those breathtaking countryside views was lovely. The restaurant was fantastic, too. We loved the sharing Sunday roast, and the apple and pear crumble is one of the best I’ve ever eaten. At breakfast, James and Francesca were attentive, friendly and clearly working hard to look after everyone. A lovely young woman served us at dinner both nights. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name, but she worked incredibly hard, recommended a lovely wine and couldn’t have been more helpful. We’d 100% recommend a stay or a meal here, and we’ll definitely return. Thanks so much for a wonderful time.

I went to a wedding here and it’s a nice venue for an occasion like that. The staff were friendly, there’s plenty of parking, and the wedding breakfast was tasty and nicely presented. Some of the event took place in the gardens since the weather was good.
