Aylestone Court Hotel

We’d absolutely stay again. The service was brilliant, and when our childcare fell through they adjusted things easily, without fuss. The room had everything we needed, and the huge bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the hot food came out quickly. A really lovely stay, thank you.

Breakfast was a real highlight: the full English was amazing, and the Garden Room had plenty of fruit juice, cereals, fruit and yogurt. Staff were friendly and took good care of us. My room had hot drink facilities, a fan heater, an iron and plenty of sockets for charging my phone. The bathroom was small but perfectly adequate, with an electric shower, lots of towels and hand wash. Given the limits of a beautiful listed Georgian building, they’ve done a great job fitting en suites while making sensible compromises on space. The bed was comfortable and I slept okay. Adam welcomed me when I arrived and showed me to the room after check-in. The railway station is only a few minutes’ walk away, and town is about a 10-minute walk. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed here both the night before and the night of our wedding. Everyone at the hotel, including Michael, was lovely and happy to help with anything we needed. They were very accommodating with our requests, especially when we needed to add an extra day.

They greeted me with real coffee and homemade cake, and the whole experience felt very welcoming. The place was spotless and had a nice atmosphere. Comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and a very central location. We’ll use it again.
