The views across the moor were out of this world. It was so peaceful to wake up to that each morning. We stayed at Bookilber Barn for my sister’s hen do, and the house was a perfect place for the private chef experience we had. It was beautifully decorated, sparkling clean and had everything we needed for a lovely weekend. There’s clearly been a lot of thought put into making it feel relaxing and luxurious. The heavy curtains, underfloor heating, gentle lighting and log fire made it cosy. We also appreciated the reed diffusers, smart televisions in the rooms, karaoke machine, quality bedding and towels, and the thoughtful welcome gifts. Cameron was so helpful with anything we needed and made everything easy from start to finish. It was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in ages, and we’re already planning our next event so we can come back.

Cameron was fantastic through the booking and went above and beyond for our group. We had a perfect weekend at Bookilber Barn for a hen do. The house and its setting are breathtaking, and the hot tub and sauna were amazing. Can’t thank you enough, we’ll definitely be back!

The views are stunning, and the house is gorgeous. Every bedroom was lovely, so nobody felt they’d drawn the short straw. The website photos don’t show how huge the property is. We had lovely weather, so we could sit in the garden and enjoy it, and recover from the heavy nights! The games room was just right for our one last rodeo party, and the hot tub is massive. Having a toilet, shower, plastic cups and a bar area there was a great bonus. The road took some getting used to, but by the sixth drive it had become an adventure, and made arriving feel even more special. Thank you, Cameron and Abbie, for a wonderful three-night hen do. Would highly recommend!

The lane up to the house has potholes and gravel, so it’s a tricky drive, but that’s not Cameron and Abbie’s fault and it didn’t spoil our stay. We also walked to Scaleber Force Waterfall on Saturday morning, about 45 minutes each way, and I’d recommend it. Our group of ten had a great time at my best friend’s hen do. The house is gorgeous and has everything you’d need.

We came as a group of ten for my 30th birthday and had a fantastic time. There was plenty to do, with a comfy lounge, games room, hot tub, beautiful bedrooms and lots of outdoor space. The house itself is stunning. Cameron and Abbie were excellent hosts, kept in touch so well, and went the extra mile with thoughtful little touches that made our stay comfortable and memorable. Thanks for such an amazing experience. We can’t wait to come back 😊
