Evette was so friendly and helpful, doing what seemed like almost every job: reception, bar, waiting tables and housekeeping. She handled it all with a smile. A great welcome and service, and a real asset to the hotel.

We arrived on bicycles and felt very welcome, so it seems well suited to cyclists and walkers. Breakfast was immense, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Laura made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. When a small room issue came up, it was sorted straight away with an upgrade. It’s not the poshest hotel in the world, but it’s great value and we were really comfortable. Many thanks!

All five of us had a good stay, travelling with our two kids and our dog. If we’re in Hexham again, we’d definitely choose the Station Inn.

It was a last-minute booking, so I can’t complain. The food was excellent, and the place was warm and comfortable. There was a TV to keep the kids entertained, with plenty of tea and coffee. Handy location too, with easy parking two minutes away, or just two minutes from the station if you’re arriving by train.
