The surrounding area is beautiful, and the Observatory we visited is nearby. We had a comfy room at this charming little inn, with delicious pub food. Everything was clean and relaxed, just what we needed. Thanks for providing an extra bed for our daughter. We’ll definitely be back! xx

We only stayed one night while visiting Kielder Observatory, and the inn made a perfect base. It’s in a peaceful spot, and the hosts were lovely and very accommodating.

A cosy, traditional inn with freshly prepared food and a well-stocked bar that has a wide choice of cask ales. The location is super, and our hosts gave us a warm welcome. We visited Kielder Observatory, about 30 minutes away. Would recommend without hesitation.

The meals were excellent, and we liked that locals visit the bar and restaurant as well as tourists. It’s also dog friendly, which is a big plus for us. The owners are lovely, and the surroundings are beautiful. We stopped here on our way back from a holiday in Scotland. Our room could use a little TLC, but the bed was comfortable and the shower was nice.

We had a great two-night stay. Our room was good, and so were the service, food and drinks. The staff and locals were really friendly. We look forward to coming back.
