Popped in for a drink, though we'd eaten not long before. The food looked and smelled delicious. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We'll be back.

A brilliant pub, and the Timothy Taylor’s Boltmaker on cask was an excellent pint.
Lunch with my son today was lovely. The people were friendly, and I had a superb sausage sandwich with fries and salad. They also have Neck Oil on tap!
We came across this charming little country pub almost by accident during a countryside drive a few days ago. It's a proper village local, not far from Luton, with some Tring Brewery ales on offer, including Sidepocket. That one's not my favourite of theirs, but it's worth trying if you'd like something brewed locally. We were made very welcome and will definitely return when we're next in the area. The landlord's puppy is gorgeous too.
Lovely pub with great food, staff and customers. I love coming here with the family.
