Dale View bed & breakfast

The bed was lovely, and it was a great place to stay. They'd thought of loads of little things, like bathrobes, plenty of tea and coffee, cotton buds, nail files, plasters, a toothbrush and a shower cap.

The room and bathroom were spacious and laid out really well. They'd thought of everything, from the hospitality tray to the toiletries. Jo was so welcoming and took time to answer our questions about the area. Her cooked breakfast was amazing and just right before a day of hiking. We were really happy with our stay and will definitely come back on our next Lake District trip.

Jo was a friendly, accommodating host, and we loved seeing the care and attention she puts into her place. After our hikes in the Lake District, it was lovely to return to the peace and quiet and a cosy room at Dale View B&B. The decor was nice, the location convenient, and the English breakfast and thoughtful amenities were great. When we told Jo we planned to hike Scafell Pike and leave early, she made us little lunch packs so we wouldn't miss breakfast. No complaints. We'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Lake District.

Jo was so friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean with comfortable beds. The shower was hot and had great pressure. Breakfast could be a fresh full English, a continental option, or a tasty packed breakfast, handy if you're heading out early to hike. We stayed here before hiking over to wasdale and I'll absolutely come back next time I'm in Cumbria.
