A peaceful, beautiful place for a holiday, with kind and helpful owners. There were thoughtful touches on arrival, eggs and milk in the fridge, a picnic basket ready to use, cosy rooms and a little balcony. We could also use the garden. The bed was a bit too soft for me, but otherwise it was perfect.

The room was superb, with a double bed, living area and kitchen, and the price was fantastically low. The owners were helpful too. Walker's Retreat is a lovely place to stay in Dartmoor, set in a beautiful spot with a garden and great views. I’ll definitely have to come back.
