A clean place for an overnight stop before the early ferry. There was one shared bathroom for the four bedrooms.

We were left seriously inconvenienced when our booking was cancelled just two hours before check-in, despite having made it months earlier. The owner said he had stopped working with booking.com months ago, but no one had told us. Booking.com still showed the property as available and said he remained a provider. There was almost no other accommodation available in Holyhead, as the screenshot shows. Both the host and the platform share responsibility for this. Not an experience anyone wants. I can't recommend it.

The owner is so friendly and helpful, and the service is excellent. I've stayed here twice now, the first time last summer with my children. The room is clean, and there's tea and hot chocolate milk available to make in the room. The wifi is excellent too.

The place was cleaner than I expected, though there were quite a few marks on the wall. I also found the stairs very steep, and going up and down them was difficult. There was a lot of noise during my stay, including occasional really loud banging. I was surprised there was only one bathroom when I arrived, which wasn't ideal, but it didn't cause a problem. My stay was okay, though it could've been better.
