After a long walk and a night wild camping, we arrived to a friendly welcome from Phil and a welcome taste of luxury. The stay was comfortable, and our host was relaxed, helpful, and full of local knowledge. We even sat in the front garden to eat our picnic. From the bed, there’s a great view of Winnats pass.

We were only ever a few minutes’ walk from the places we wanted to go, right in the centre of Castleton. Causeway House was ideal for our anniversary weekend. Our room felt luxurious, was spotless and well kept, and Phil made us feel very welcome. We’ll stay here again on our next visit to Castleton.

I slept so well in the single room, the bed was lovely and really comfortable. Phil, the owner, was welcoming and happy to help with anything. Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of care for different dietary requirements. This is a cosy, relaxed B&B with the comforts of home, in a brilliant location. Highly recommend.

Phil was a great host, and the pubs and places to eat are only a few yards away. The rooms are beautiful and spotless, with first-class accommodation. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

Phil was very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable. Parking was tight, but worked perfectly for us since we didn’t need to come and go, with everything so well placed in central Castleton. It’s a cosy, no-frills stay, and I’d happily book again.
