The delicious breakfasts were freshly prepared, and each morning felt like a treat that set us up nicely for the day. We stayed at Innis Free Cottage for three nights and left feeling refreshed, wishing we could have stayed longer. The owners were kind, thoughtful and attentive without being intrusive. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel welcome and at ease. The cottage itself was cosy and charming, with a peaceful atmosphere and comfortable furnishings. It was beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean throughout, with clear care taken over the details. I’d happily return and recommend Innis Free Cottage to anyone wanting a peaceful, very clean and welcoming place to stay, with kind hosts and wonderful breakfasts.

The breakfast was a three course extravaganza, all freshly made and delicious. It started with cereal and fresh fruit, then there was plenty of choice for the main course: full English, omelette, vegetarian full English, or the Innisfree special, a toasted bagel with poached egg, sundried tomato and Basil. Innisfree cottage is a small B&B six miles from Chatsworth, with Bakewell nearby too. The rooms were lovely and clean, with either a private bathroom or ensuite facilities. The hosts were excellent and very accommodating. We had a fantastic stay and will stay again.

The views were lovely, and breakfast was really nice. We were only passing through and stayed briefly with Pauline and Trevor, but we’d happily come back to this lovely B&B. Innisfree Cottage is well worth recommending.
