The views are amazing, and the house itself is beautiful. Little touches made our stay good: there was bread cooking for us when we arrived, plus bacon, eggs and milk in the fridge, and a selection of teas and coffees.

The views from the accommodation are stunning, and everything inside is fitted out to a high standard. The owners live next door and were very friendly and helpful. The village was welcoming too, with the Miners pub serving great beer and food. The Coolstone had an amazing beer selection and food, from pizza in the courtyard with its various shops to a fantastic bistro. I spent Monday to Friday here and have to leave a review. The accommodation was fantastic, with everything you could wish for. I'd definitely come back. Bakewell and Matlock are a short drive away, and Meadowhall shopping mall is about 45 minutes by car.

So welcoming, clean and comfortable, with tasteful decor and great value. Staying here put a smile on my face. If every B&B felt this hospitable, I wouldn't bother with hotels.
