I booked this to get away from everyday chaos, and it didn't disappoint. The setting is so peaceful, with stunning walks wherever you go. The owners were polite and helpful, and I'd definitely come back. The Peak District is now one of my favourite places in the UK, and this is where I'd recommend staying. Possibly one of the best Airbnb's I've been to: beautiful inside and out, spacious, very clean, and five-star comfort and luxury with everything you could want.

Castleon is less than a 15-minute drive away and has more restaurants. Closer by, there’s a Co-op, a fish and chip shop and a couple of pubs at the bottom of the hill, all within walking distance. We had a fantastic three-day stay at Stoney Ridge while using it as a base for gravel and mountain biking around the Peaks. Richard and Helen were very accommodating, the twin room was quiet and relaxed, and breakfast was cracking fuel for our days out.

Helen's homemade marmalade is going down well! We had a lovely stay at stoney ridge, with a beautiful room and breakfasts that were well worth the £9 extra. The location was perfect for Mam Tor, Tideswell and Monsal trail.

We got caught in snow drifts unexpectedly, and the hosts went out of their way to fit us in. They were so warm and welcoming, it felt like visiting relatives. The room was clean, comfortable and very well equipped, and breakfast exceeded expectations. We’ll definitely come back in the near future.

We loved the whole experience at Stoneyridge. We stayed in the Lodge, a new room that used to be the swimming pool room. It has a lovely seating area with stunning views, and the en suite bathroom is fabulous and really spacious. Just a note that there is no longer a swimming pool.
