Broome Park Farm B&B

Our daughter was thrilled to visit the pigs, collect eggs from the chickens, and help with the morning feeding. Catherine and John also made us feel at home with a delicious cooked breakfast, a tasty packed lunch, local tips, and plenty of friendly conversation. The garden and patio had toys, a hammock, and a giant deck chair, with gorgeous views and curious, friendly cows to watch. We loved our long weekend at Broome Park Farm B&B. The spacious room had a comfortable bed and room for our daughter's cot, and the farmhouse furnishings carried through to the dining and living rooms. We'd gladly stay again, whether exploring the nearby towns and villages or just looking for a comfortable place to stop and relax.

Feeding the farm animals with my wife and son was the highlight for all of us. We also found several good restaurants just a short drive away. Catherine welcomed us with tea, homemade brownies, and cakes, and made us feel right at home. The B&B was clean and cozy, with everything we needed. Its peaceful surroundings made for a wonderfully relaxing stay, and Catherine was a lovely host. We had a great time and would highly recommend Broome Park Farm B&B. Thank you, Catherine, for making it so memorable.

We came back after eight years and found Broome Park Farm just as perfect and relaxing as before. Catherine is so accommodating, and nothing seems too much trouble. From our room, we could see sheep in the fields and hear them baaing in the morning. The bed is big and very comfortable, the shower lovely, and the towels soft and fluffy. Breakfast is the best ever, with specials like smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or blueberry pancakes with maple syrup, alongside a delicious full English. There are home-baked cookies in a jar, too, with complimentary tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. This is my favourite place to stay, my “Home from Home”.

We had a lovely long weekend, with a delicious breakfast, gorgeous views from the windows, and friendly owners who were happy to help. The house has just two bedrooms, so it doesn't feel crowded, and guests can use a large dining room and sitting room. Finding the place was a little tricky, though. The Georgian house shown on the website doesn't face the road, so look for the Broome Park Farm sign on the gate.
