The atmosphere was relaxed, and we stopped at the bar for a few drinks. Service was good, though the drinks were a little pricey. Our room was clean, comfortable and had what we needed, and the staff were pleasant. Check-in was easy, and checkout was quick, which helped since the airport shuttle bus stops just outside. We stayed the night before an early flight and arrived rested, without the usual travel stress.

Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, with a good selection and a three-course deal for the price of two. Service was really good there, too. All the staff were great and happy to help, and the welcome was just what IHG is known for. The hotel was spotless, and the room very comfortable with everything we needed. Check-in and checkout were easy, parking was excellent, and it’s very close to the North Terminal. They also have a park-and-stay offer. We had a very early start, so skipped breakfast. A great one-night stop before flying, and I’m not sure what could be improved.

We’ll definitely be back. The food is exceptionally delicious, and the room was clean and pleasant. Angela is our favorite staff member, so kind and helpful. Robert, our server, made the evening especially enjoyable. He was friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcome, easily worth five stars on his own. The restaurant food was great, fresh and tasty, with plenty of choice. The buffet is especially handy if you have kids. A fantastic experience, highly recommended.

Robert looked after us at dinner and was absolutely amazing, friendly, attentive and caring. He made my wife and me feel so welcome, and he’s a real credit to Holiday Inn. We’d stayed at the Holiday Inn the night before our early flight to Malaga, and had something to eat and drink at the restaurant. My wife said the stay was even more marvellous when he mentioned he was a Millwall fan, because she supports Millwall too. He’s a lovely human being.
