The bedroom and shower room were spacious, and the whole place felt wonderfully homely. A peaceful little retreat, with lovely hosts, friendly dogs, and a breakfast worth getting up for.

We picked this welcoming B&B in a quiet village as a base for touring Lincolnshire, instead of moving between caravan parks. We arrived late on Friday, after 10pm, and were settled in straight away. Our dog met theirs too. She struggles socially with other dogs, so the chance to work out the pecking order mattered to my wife. She adjusted quickly, and the change in her over the week was incredible. Since coming home, she’s been more accepting of other dogs. After our days out, we’d sit together with wine or tea and chat about how the day had gone. It was a lovely way to unwind. Breakfast was varied and excellent, nothing seemed like too much trouble, and the bread was homemade every day. If you like the countryside and want to feel as though you’re staying with family, this is a great place. I’d happily book again.

We only stayed one night, and I was even given a birthday card for my 65th. The owners made us feel completely at home, and our room was lovely. Their back garden is amazing, too. They have three lovely dogs, and breakfast really had the wow factor.

Judy made sure my Dad, Brother and Sister-in-law were looked after in every way. They were so comfortable they didn’t want to leave. The homemade bread and jams at breakfast were lovely, along with the full English. Guests are welcomed into their home and treated like family. Judy really does go the extra mile.

Our Valentine’s Day getaway was a wonderful surprise. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the hosts were incredibly charming and kind, going well beyond what I expected. It was my first time staying at a B and B, and they made it such a pleasurable experience. My boyfriend and I had a great time, and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had.
