White Hart Hotel

The historic pub is old and full of character. In winter, you’ll probably find a crackling log fire waiting. Richard, the landlord, is always welcoming, friendly and polite. He, his family, the other staff and the regulars are a great source of local knowledge for anyone visiting the village. It’s a shame the pub isn’t open on Fridays or weekends, though you can book a stay there on Airbnb.

Having the car park right beside the hotel matters a lot to me. My room was clean, nice and very comfortable, and breakfast was tasty, well cooked and made with good ingredients. The staff were very nice and friendly, and the place had a cosy feel. I’ll certainly use the White Hart Inn again.

I loved my stay and can’t say a bad word about the place. The owner was polite and a great guy, and he cooks a smashing breakfast, so I’d recommend having it. The room was clean and good, the price was very good, and the burger I had was amazing. The pub is great and dog friendly, and even the locals were friendly. I’d recommend stopping here and I’ll stay again. Thanks for the great stay 👍

The relaxed atmosphere made for a really enjoyable time, and the staff were friendly and happy to help. The food was tasty and really good. You might have to wait a little, but that’s what happens when it’s made fresh. I was there with my friends from Holland, who always visit this pub when they come over. They love its older, typical English pub style and the good food. Thanks to all the staff for looking after us yesterday.
