Crown & Punchbowl

I've driven past plenty of times without stopping for a meal, but I'll definitely come back now. There's a good range of food for different budgets. I was going to order steak, then switched to the burger at the last minute and saved a few pounds. Great decision, it's one of the best burgers I've had. Please keep it on the specials menu! The tangy orange and chocolate dessert was incredible too, and the service was great.

The roast lamb was especially delicious, and the portions were a good size. We had a really tasty Mother's Day lunch, with excellent service that was warm and super efficient. It was busy, but we never felt rushed. The crumble wasn't for us, we'd have preferred a more traditional topping, though it didn't spoil the meal. The surprise gift 🎁 was such a thoughtful touch. Thank you, we'd highly recommend it.

We booked the Oak room for 18 people to celebrate my birthday with friends, and it was just right for our party. The booking team handled our requests really responsively, and all the communication beforehand was clear and prompt. The food and service were outstanding, and the whole experience at The Crown& Punchbowl was excellent. I'd definitely recommend it.

The conservatory is a beautiful place to dine, and the decor is cosy and superb. The team were attentive and friendly throughout, thank you! Friends recommended the food, and everything lived up to that reputation apart from the cod loin, which was a little dry and flavourless.
