Edinburgh Nine

We’ve travelled around the world, and this is one of the loveliest places we’ve stayed. The location and cleanliness are hard to fault, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We had a small request, and Stuart helped us out, which we really appreciated. We’ll pop in again next time we’re in Edinburgh.

We love the quiet, relaxed feel of this apartment. It gives us a lovely place to rest, refuel and recharge, so we can enjoy Edinburgh to the fullest. The view from the kitchen over the internal garden is calming, and the place itself has a comfortable bed, modern bathroom, nice sofa and fully equipped kitchen. The double-only apartment is clean and spacious. It’s in an ideal spot, peaceful but close to Old Town, Grassmarket and Haymarket. Our favorite place to stay in Edinburgh.

This apartment was impeccably clean, very comfortable and in a perfect spot. Tucked behind the castle, it’s just around the corner from the Lyceum Theatre and the West End, with loads of great bars and restaurants nearby. We felt we’d found a real treasure. We’d decided on a whim to add an extra night in Edinburgh, but our original place had no availability. The property owners were wonderfully responsive and helpful when we emailed, and let us check in early. I only wish we’d stayed here the whole time. I’ve recommended it to my sister and brother-in-law, who are visiting Edinburgh in early April for their 25th wedding anniversary. They first met there, and this will be their first time back to Scotland for a stay.

What a find! The apartments are clean and laid out well, with everything you need in the kitchenette, even a little dishwasher. The location is handy for places to eat, the theatre and the Usher Hall. Step outside, look to the right, and Edinburgh Castle is right there high on the rock. Amazing.
