Pam was a wonderful host and kept in touch by text during our stay. We had a lovely kid-free weekend in the caravan, with beautifully maintained grounds and modern, very clean facilities. We have a double axle caravan and struggled to pitch at first. We only just fitted on the pitches, and the waterlogged grass left little room to manoeuvre. Thanks for having us!

We had a great week here in August, with us in a tent and our friends in their caravan. There was lots to visit nearby for day trips, and our pitches were so large that even when the site was busy, it never felt crowded. I was worried about there being only two toilets and two showers, but it wasn't a problem at all during the week. The owner kept everything spotless. We'd happily come back. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We've been to this campsite quite a few times and always have a fab time. Pam and her Hubby are lovely, and the site and amenities are spotless, with everything you need. There's also a lake nearby called Hanmer Mere, about a five-minute drive away. It's amazing for a swim on a lovely hot day. Definitely recommend.

The beds were really comfortable, and the lodge was beautifully decorated and well looked after. We were a big group and everyone loved it. I especially liked the kitchen, dining table and hot tub. I'd highly recommend it for large groups, and we'll definitely book again.

We found the campsite convenient and well located on our way back from a Sleep-E Adventure in Wales. The owners were friendly and helpful, and we had a quiet night's sleep. Pitches were clean, the hot showers were good, and the washrooms were nice and kept clean. There were water taps close by, and a pot-washing area, yippee! The price felt fair for the facilities. Payment was cash. If you'd like to get a feel for our stay, have a look at Sleep-E Adventures on YouTube. The video is called Canoeing, Capsizing, Camping and Cooking.
