Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel

I usually head straight to Heathrow from wherever I’m staying, but this time I wanted to be nearby for an early flight the next day, so I booked one night. The room was clean and modern, had what I needed, and the bed was very comfortable. I skipped breakfast because I was going to eat on the long flight or flights back to Australia. I was a little unsure where to park when I arrived. It was raining heavily, so the signs were hard to see, but the concierge pointed me to the car park around back and the hotel’s rear entrance. Finding a space was no problem. Check-in and checkout were straightforward, and everyone I dealt with was pleasant and professional. I’m glad I chose this hotel and would book Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel again if I need to stay near Heathrow.

Breakfast had a good range of food, and thanks especially to Jerson in the dining area. The staff were helpful, and the room was clean with a cosy bed. The only downside was having just an overhead rain shower over the bath, which doesn’t always work for me.

It was my birthday trip, and Lili at the front desk and the rest of the team made it feel special. I’d spoken with her before arriving, and they really came through: I got an upgrade to a suite and found a lovely dessert waiting in the room. I hadn’t expected such a welcome, and I’m very grateful. The room was amazing, and the runway views are unusual, especially at one of the world’s biggest airports. The lounge was pleasant too. I was only there for one night before flying out, and as a Marriott Platinum Elite member I’d happily stay again and recommend the hotel.

The team made our first stay really enjoyable, and the atmosphere around the hotel was great. We had a runway-facing room and loved it. The restaurant staff were wonderful too. Pallavi and her colleagues were kind and looked after us so well. I’d forgotten to add the second breakfast, but Faris sorted it out quickly and gave it to us on the house, with no fuss. Everyone I spoke with was helpful. It seems lots of visitors come back regularly, and I can see why. It’s also a handy place to stay if you have to leave very early.
