Best Western Princes Marine Hotel

The room was a good size, with two armchairs, and clean. The decor, furniture, carpet and fittings looked a little tired, but were absolutely fine. We asked for a quiet room and were given one on the first floor, two rooms from the lift and right by the car park. Still, the kitchen below made banging and cleaning noises until after 10pm, and a car alarm in the car park kept going off until after 3am. Good value overall, but be warned if you're hoping for a quiet rest.

We asked for an upgrade and got a sea-view family room for two friends. The beds were comfortable, staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was superb. We had a full English. The location is great, with bus stop 700 right outside and a fantastic restaurant come bar opposite on the seafront. Check-out is at 11am, and breakfast finishes at 11am too. We'll be back!

The staff were fantastic, breakfast was amazing, and the bar had an eclectic mix of guests. We ended up chatting with everyone until after midnight. Our bed had a sea view, the beach was 100m away, the bus stop right outside, and there was free parking. That's already plenty of reasons to choose this place for Brighton. I'm looking forward to planning another trip and already know where we'll stay.

We liked being about two miles west of Brighton, and the local beaches were much quieter than those nearer the town centre. They were guarded by RNLI lifeguards, too. It's about a 45-minute walk along the promenade. Our room had a sea view, stayed clean and was serviced daily. Housekeeping were excellent, reception staff friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good with basically unlimited food.
