Lichfield House

The hotel was simple, quiet and relaxing, and I enjoyed my three days there. The receptionist was kind and kept checking that we were all right and had no problems. The location was pretty good, close to the beach, though it's a bit of a walk to the city centre. Our bathroom and toilet were separate, and both were small, but that was fine. The bed made a bit of noise, but nothing unbearable. Wi-Fi was meant to be included, but it didn't work, which was disappointing. We didn't spend much time in the room anyway. There was a kettle and plenty of free tea, coffee, sugar and sweeteners. I also got 10% off my next stay. I'd happily return and highly recommend it, just hope the Wi-Fi works next time!

We spent two nights here this summer, and it was a clean, nice room at a reasonable rate. It's well located, close to pretty much everything in Brighton. I booked online and got an email explaining how to get into the building and which room was ours. The front door uses a keycode, and our room key was waiting inside. There wasn't anyone at reception when we arrived, but there's a phone in the main entrance if you need something. All in all, a great place to stay.

Just got back from our stay. The room was spotless and the staff were helpful. The beach is down the street near the Peace Angel, and the pier is about a 20-minute walk away.

The rooms had a damp smell, and the receptionist wasn't helpful. It was very poor value, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
