The photos convinced me to book, but this was the worst apartment I’ve ever booked and nowhere near worth the price. The kitchen was disgusting, a light was fused, and even the bin hadn’t been emptied properly. The Jacuzzi was broken; apartment staff never came after I called about it. We were told there’d be a balcony, but there wasn’t one. There’s no lift either, so expect lots of stairs. Avoid this place if you can. Zero stars.

We’re here temporarily after moving to the UK, with a baby, a pram and seven suitcases. Having to haul everything up several flights because the lift was broken was rough. I was also a bit worried seeing the solid Google rating after the three-star reviews on bookings.com, though the place turned out to be not that bad for the space and price. The bed is comfy, the sheets are clean and the floor doesn’t creak. Still, a few things were subpar: our door lock was wonky and the kitchen sink sprays water everywhere. With a baby, we definitely wouldn’t stay again.

The apartment smelled damp as soon as we walked in, and just about everything seemed broken. After dinner we came back to more than 100 teenagers partying in the lobby stairwell and down our hallway, with whippet and coke bags scattered on the floor. When we asked to get through to our room and asked them to keep the noise down, they threatened us. The supposed 24-hour concierge didn’t answer, so we had to call the police. Absolutely awful. Don’t stay here. I’d give it minus stars if I could.

On the day my parents were due to arrive, the property cancelled their reservation because of an issue with my debit card details. I’d checked them several times to make sure payment would go through, and nobody contacted me before cancelling or explained anything. My parents had come for my graduation and were left without anywhere to stay. Trying to reach customer service was awful too: they never called back or picked up. A very unpleasant experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
