Hyatt House Manchester

The breakfast service is what I’ll remember most. Kelly, the breakfast manager, was warm and engaging, and somehow kept on top of everything while still making time for a laugh with us. I travel a lot for work and stay in plenty of hotels, but haven’t often felt so well looked after. The rest of the team, from reception and the bar to the baristas and hot food servers, were great too. That’s a big reason we’ll likely return next year, fingers crossed Kelly and the team are doing breakfast again. There were three of us for the night, and our room had a superb view over Manchester’s skyline. We had drinks at the bar before heading into Manchester, and the servers were attentive. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, cooked or continental, plus coffee and juice. I’d recommend the scrambled eggs or an omelette. We chose Flat Whites made by the staff instead of using the machines, and they looked as good as the picture. The food, atmosphere and hotel were all nice as well.

The staff were the best part, from reception through to the restaurants. Everyone was kind, helpful and attentive. Breakfast was decent, and the evening service was great. A nice stay, and I’d like to come back.

We got the connecting rooms we’d asked for, and they were bright, spacious and comfortable. The location also made it easy to get around Manchester. Staff at the front desk were especially kind and helpful, and the dinner and breakfast teams were lovely too. The food was very good. We had an excellent stay, and it seems a great fit for families or anyone visiting the city.

I’d booked Hyatt House but was moved to Hyatt Regency. My room was on the small side, and it was a disabled room, but the stay was decent. I had a nice view of Manchester from the fourth floor. There’s a gym in the building, and breakfast was standard but good.
