I’ve stayed with these guys over 12-13 times now. Check-in is quick, the rooms are spotless and modern, and the service is impeccable. I’d recommend it to couples.

The bed was very comfortable, the place was clean throughout, and the big bath worked well. The decor is good quality, the amenities are good, and the couch was good too. I stayed in the larger top-floor apartment. There were a few issues: no instructions for checking in or using anything, floors that were quite uneven with about a 1-2 inch step between the hall and bathroom, and a bath panel that didn’t sit flush. There were also signs of damp, though the place was otherwise well looked after. Some blinds needed fixing. Still, it was pretty good and I’d stay again.

The apartment was very clean, good-looking and well furnished. Definitely worth bringing an Xbox One to connect to the TV, the comfort and sound setup works perfectly with the layout. The property manager was kind and helpful too.

The place itself is beautiful and up to standard, but the owner’s behaviour was disgraceful. We drove from Manchester to Huddersfield for my husband’s birthday. Nobody was there to help us get in, so we had to call the owner to arrange access to the building and room. We then filled the jacuzzi using only the hot tap by mistake. The steam filled the apartment and set off the smoke alarm. No one was around to help, and when we knocked at the downstairs office there was no answer. My husband worked out how to turn the alarm off. I have video of what happened. After the steam finally cleared, the owner arrived about an hour later, banging furiously on our door. He barged in and accused us of smoking. I’m eight months pregnant, I don’t smoke, and my husband wouldn’t smoke around me. We showed him the video and tried to explain that the steam had set off the alarm, but he wouldn’t listen or believe us. He demanded £100 for damages or said he’d call the police and make us leave. He kept insisting we’d been smoking, saying he’d come from a family meal. We couldn’t understand what was supposedly damaged; it was steam, and we hadn’t shut the bathroom door. We were kicked out and asked for a refund after driving all that way, but he refused, and now says we damaged something too. We’d noticed a window ledge already burned by a candle from previous guests, hidden by an ornament. He didn’t apologise or admit he was wrong, just forced us to leave and continued to lie because we wouldn’t pay another £100. We’d promoted the property because it looked so lovely, but after this encounter I’ve told everyone and will keep doing so. I’ve also read other reviews describing similar accusations about broken items that were already broken, and calling him a liar and thief. This was disgusting customer service, and we’re gutted that my husband’s birthday was ruined and we had to drive back to Manchester over something we didn’t do. They seem like con artists trying to get more money by accusing guests. Stay away.
