Park Hotel & Apartments

We had an absolutely outstanding stay at the Park Hotel & Apartments. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and really spacious. We were grateful for the excellent complimentary cooked breakfast. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!

The breakfast was exceptionally good, and the hotel is in a great location. But the biggest compliment goes to reception, especially Niki, who was full of warmth and good humour. She was so accommodating throughout our stay and helped us enormously when our car broke down and had to be recovered from the hotel. Even after we’d left, she was willing to help with the arrangements, which meant we could get home and leave the matter in her hands. Thanks, we’ll definitely recommend it.

We’ve already booked another stay for the summer. The apartment had everything we needed, and then some, and it was clean and comfortable. The location worked especially well for what we came for. We’d definitely recommend it 😀

The evening bar staff member was lovely and helpful, but the other staff I dealt with were abrupt. I stayed five nights while my partner was in hospital, and the room care was poor. The bed wasn’t made, the mugs weren’t washed, and the plates stayed in the room after I chose to eat there. On the one occasion someone came in, they left a dirty shower mat draped over the shower door. Very basic accommodation.
