The food was a highlight, both at dinner and breakfast, and there was a good wine list. The staff were wonderful. Rachel Lily and Will made us feel so welcome, almost as if we were regulars. My friend and I had a fantastic weekend at the Gin Trap Inn. The stable room was beautiful, warm and comfortable, with thoughtful little touches that made it feel special rather than like a rental. Such a great find, and I’ve been recommending it to everyone. I’ll be back!

The food was fabulous. We started with cocktails by the fire, then had a lovely three-course meal with wine. The cauliflower soup was exceptional, and the homemade gluten-free bread roll was great. The pub itself was warm and cosy. We were shown to a beautifully furnished cottage that didn’t feel like a rental at all. The beds were super comfortable, and the linen and towels felt crisp and fresh. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Will (Rodders) deserves a special mention for helping us find gluten-free options and engaging so well with the whole group. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was fantastic. Thank you, team Gin Trap. See you again soon!

We liked it so much after stopping in for a drink and a light bite that we booked dinner for that evening. The food was absolutely delicious, and Rachel came over to greet us. Service was fantastic both times. We’d first dropped by after a beach walk. The pub was cosy and charming, and Rachel and her colleague gave us a warm welcome. They were especially kind to our dog, Bobby, bringing him water and treats. It has a great atmosphere, and I highly recommend it.

Our puppy was made very welcome, and we’re so grateful for how accommodating the pub was. The room was comfortable, modern and clean, and the food, cocktails and service were all exceptional. This was our second stay at the Gin Trap Inn, and we can’t recommend it enough. The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff go above and beyond. Rachel and Joe are a real credit to the pub and made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to return!

The cottage was comfortable and well equipped, with lovely views to the back. Breakfast was excellent quality and kept us going for a long walk around Holkham and Wells yesterday. GTI is a great base for exploring North Norfolk. We’ve stayed at GTI a few times and often visit the pub when we’re in Norfolk. The team are always welcoming and their service is spot on. They made our dog feel as welcome as the humans. It never disappoints; we’ve recommended it already and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!
