Sandford house is probably one of THE best Wetherspoons we've visited. We stayed for two nights, and Rebecca greeted us after running over from the bar when we checked in. We also met some of the bar team, especially Jason. Sorry we didn't get to meet his partner and the Sandford's manager, Sarah. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and polite. Food arrived piping hot, and tables were cleared and cleaned quickly. There are several places to sit with a drink or meal, including one area with an amazing wood burner and five tables. Outside, there's plenty of seating for smokers and non-smokers, bike stands and a covered area. It's well lit at night. The highlight came when I needed the ladies' toilets. The upstairs ladies' area is huge, with sofas, lots of mirrors and a fabulous central handwashing facility, see video. There are five access points, and I think two are wheelchair friendly. The only downside was no parking, as it's right on the edge of Huntingdon town centre. The rooms are clean and spacious, with air con and heating, a TV, two bottles of water, tea and coffee, an iron and board, a hairdryer and a walk-in shower. It was a lovely short break. Thank you all.
