Ann was a wonderful host, always happy to help, including with detailed suggestions for places to eat and shop. We spent five nights at the Old post Office in Hilton in September 2017, and it was an ideal base for exploring the lovely area around Cambridge. We visited Bury St Edmonds and Ely, and spent a day in Cambridge itself. The Cottage was cosy and comfortable, with all the facilities we needed. We’d absolutely recommend the Post office as a great place to stay.

Ann was a really helpful hostess, which was a bonus. We loved coming back to this picturesque, well-equipped cottage to relax after days out around Cambridgeshire. The heritage apple varieties growing in the grounds were a treat to see and sample. My husband and I had a great stay in September 2017.

Compact, beautifully appointed accommodation in a lovely spot, with very friendly people. My American friend and her two 20-year old children stayed over C'mas and told me, "We spent a wonderful week here! Thank you for such a lovely cottage. It suited our needs wonderfully." It was perfect.

Hilton village is wonderfully peaceful, and The Old Post Office makes a lovely home away from home. I use it regularly for work trips combined with private visits to Cambridge, and I'm always greeted warmly. Its location also makes it easy to visit Cambridge and nearby villages like St Yves, as well as enjoy the scenery around the city. A hidden gem for seeing the countryside or spending time in Cambridge.
