We really liked the clean, comfortable room, the good breakfast, and the excellent sun terrace where we sat reading until 10pm. But in the morning we were disappointed to be hurried out rudely. We’d been chatting with the owner, which delayed us getting ready to leave.

We loved staying here while we were performing at the Huntly Golf Club. Thanks to James McKay for putting us up. Keith and Christine are the sweetest, and it was a pleasure meeting you both. Hope we can come back soon. 💙

The service was excellent, and the rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast had a very good selection. It’s very close to Huntly rail station and the town square bus station, though really everything in Huntly is close together. There’s a chippy just opposite for anyone who gets hungry.

We only stayed one night, but the room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was good and very reasonably priced. It’s a welcoming, friendly family run business. My only suggestion would be to consider other ways to pay, like paypal.

A laid back place with a real family feel. Keith and Christine Best, the landlords, go out of their way for guests, and people staying there nearly always end up as friends. The chipper just across the way is a bonus too.
